Re: Utrecht, Netherlands
Andre , You're so right about Sloe Gin with that intro , It is Spellbinding , just stunning , Joe out front under the solo spotlight , This song now has to be The Show Stealer with The New Revamped Oh So Bluesy Blues Deluxe Just Beautifully Sublime with Rick's Jazzy Tinklings and Joe's Singing Now Improving This Classic Bonamassa Anthem , These 2 Songs expressed in this way are Totally Made For The Royal Albert Hall and It's Feel of Acoustics , That is Just Spine Tingling Thinking of Those Sounds Echoeing Around That Hall on Monday May The 4th Next Year

Agree completely with this take, Michael. The Sloe Gin intro was utterly out of this world, I was literally moist-eyed with rapture. The band are getting heavier and even tighter, most standards are evolving, different intros, solos, more repartee with the audience, in short, ever more professional and, as you rightly say, right on course for some KILLER versions at the RAH.
I'm sorry, but I'm never gonna like sitting in a large hall like that, I got up halfway through and stood at the side till the mesmerizing intro of One of these days, when I crept right down the front and sat in the aisle right in front of Joe.
Rock On and keep the Faith
