Agree completely with this take, Michael. The Sloe Gin intro was utterly out of this world, I was literally moist-eyed with rapture. The band are getting heavier and even tighter, most standards are evolving, different intros, solos, more repartee with the audience, in short, ever more professional and, as you rightly say, right on course for some KILLER versions at the RAH.

I'm sorry, but I'm never gonna like sitting in a large hall like that, I got up halfway through and stood at the side till the mesmerizing intro of One of these days, when I crept right down the front and sat in the aisle right in front of Joe.

This was my first Bonamassa live experience. I noticed a few months ago that he was going to be in town (I am from Utrecht), and he was advertised as one of the greatest blues guitarplayers alive, which drew my attention. (Sorry.. I have to admit I never heard of the man.. please forgive me!) Sure enough listened to some of his music on YouTube and I bought tickets.

Well.. what can I say? Joe blew me off my feet with his show! It was totally awesome, one of the very best live performances I've ever had the pleasure to enjoy! My wife was a bit sceptic when I took her with me, but she totally loved every second of it!

I know one thing: I'm gonna keep a close eye on his touring schedule and when he gets back to Holland I'll be there again! Thank you Joe, for a magical night that I will remember as long as I live!!!
