Hey Everyone,
I feel somewhat compelled to comment here. I have been with Joe for about 6 months now. I have never seen anyone more dedicated to his fans. I have worked with plenty of other artists and none of them hold a candle to Joe in this area. He tours a minimum of NINE MONTHS out of a year. EVERY YEAR. Do you get that? that is 270 days away from home. Why? because he loves it and he loves his fans. I feel very fortunate to be in a band with a guy like that. My time here has been a blessing. I've met wonderful people and played in great venues, big and small, in 5 different countries, big and small. The touring drains you from time to time, you get snippy with people you have to spend 270 days a year with, everyone on the bus goes through it. However, I have NEVER seen Joe, or anyone on the bus, do that to a fan. If you've ever met Joe you know he is a smart guy. Do you really think he would slight his fanbase? Does he strike you as that type of person? This guy gives more to the people on any given night than anyone I know. Like it was said, Mark and I get a break during the set, Joe does not. He then goes to the bus to warm down his voice, a vital part of keeping his voice healthy, why? Because he cares. He does not want to cancel shows for any reason. He is also a consumate professional. If we show up to a gig and things are not the way they should be, Joe takes care of it. I have seen this guy personally pay for a better sound system on more than one occasion, not the promoter, who was supposed to provide it, but Joe, the artist, the professional. Why? Because he wants you, the fans, to have the best show possible coming off the stage and kicking your ****. I certainly hope this sheds a little light on what we deal with out there and for those of you who have your issues, I hope this helps you not take anything personally, I know it was never intended that way. I look forward to seeing all of you the next time we're in your area.
Thanks,
Bogie
