I appreciate your opinion Kevin; everyone has the right to have one.
Not sure if you know anything about Tallan, but he has played with some pretty heavy hitters this past year such as Albert Cummings, Lance Lopez, Wes Jeans, Greg Koch, Wayne Baker Books, and Walter Trout just to name a few. Also, Joe made a point on a thread of his own indicating how talented he is. So when Tallan says he really likes someone, I at least listen.
As far as the length of the review, I'm not a professional at that and tend to give a bit more info than needed. However, I guess you really needed to be there to understand how this mostly Gov't Mule audience, appreciated Back Door Slam. Apparently the word had gotten out to make sure to show up early to catch their performance and many in the crowd were blown away by them. My apologies though for the length of the review.
I have seen Back Door Slam live four times and this was the only time they opened for someone. Since they sold out Buddy Guy's Legends in Chicago and had an excellent showing at Naperville Summer Nights, I guess that's what I meant regarding them opening for anyone. Although I understand why they did it which was for the same reasons they opened for Kid Rock, more exposure to different people.
Lastly, I for one don't think you're an "ahole" just because you don't agree with me.
