As a die hard Cleveland fan I'd rather see Pittsburgh win than Modell's team, not just anyday.............everyday. Don't get me wrong, I've got nothing against the good people of Baltimore just the schmuck owner of their football team. If anybody can understand where I'm comin' from it would be the football fans of Baltimore, any of you have a little contempt for the Irsay's??????
Remember The Colts?????????

As a Baltimore fan who lived there most of his life, I do understand where you are coming from. I will always hate anyone named Irsay, and I will always root for Indy to lose. A couple of points from a Baltimore perspective though. First, we were passed up on expansion by Tagliabeau in favor of Carolina and Jacksonville - even though Baltimore had the better package on the table. Tagliabeau told the good city of Baltimore that they should concentrate their efforts on building museums and libraries instead. Baltimore helped put the NFL on the map (58 championship game), but that did not seem to matter to the commish. Second, Irsay snuck the team out in the middle of the night during a snowstorm. Third, Cleveland did get to keep their team name, colors and historical records for their expansion team; Baltimore did not. So while both of our cities lost our teams undeservedly, I think that the circumstances are quite a bit different. No slap at all against the great fans of Cleveland... just my humble opinion.
Though tonight's game will be very difficult to win, I will end this by saying, Go Ravens!
