Topic: Amazing Coincidences and "Isn’t it ironic, don't you think"?
After a particularly crap day in the office yesterday I got on the train home with a splitting headache, turned on my mp3 player which was on ‘random play all’ and the first track was, you guessed it “Pain and Sorrow”. It brought an immediate smile to my face but didn’t do my headache much good – LOL
This is the second coincidink that’s happened this week so I’m hoping that I beat the odds of 76m:1 and scoop the Euromillions lottery on Friday night, which has an estimated jackpot of £92m ($163m and falling ).
The first was at the weekend when Mrs W and I were talking about asking her friend, who she hadn’t seen for several years, if she wanted to collect some firewood for their fire. During the conversation the phone rang and my wife heard the caller say “hello Kathryn” (my wife’s name), “it’s Penny” (her friend’s name). You might think that’s not unusual as I’ve heard of similar happenings before, but what made this even more spooky is that it was a wrong number! What are the chances of that happening?
Anyone else had any similar experiences?
