10:20 of excellence...but I'm sure you already suspected that. Kevin Shirley has once again shown why he's perfect for the job. Joe's guitar and vocals literally leap out of the mix. Speaking of the mix, it's so crystal clear you could be excused into thinking this was a studio recording. I know "India" was somewhat maligned by some on this board when 'Sloe Gin' came out, but hearing it here, all is revealed. And if you think this is good, just wait until you hear the nearly 18 minute version of "Django/Just Got Paid". Live from nowhere in particular my a**,  this is music of the spheres, manna from blues heaven indeed, that's where this is from.

Re: What song are you listening to right now?

Thanks for the awesome review (what does 10:20 of excellence mean?), but what Cathy and I want to know is how you got a hold of it so soon!

Looks like someone nabbed your 1000'th post, names have been hidden to protect the guilty cool oh well. Looks like you'll have to come up with a thread just as popular.
Do people use this thread for research or just to gloat about what they're listening to???

It happens, were human. Nobody will admit but there are at least a hand full of people gloating over listening to artists no one else has ever heard of in an attempt to prove some kind of musical prowess.

I heard of something similar happening to book clubs around the country (it was a prompt for an essay in a class I took last year) where people were the clubs were turning into pure group intellectual one-up-manship.

I'm listening to Brad Paisley, I'll Take You Back.

Re: What song are you listening to right now?

Andre....it's possible there's a zone problem depending on where you got the DVD...especially if it was imported.  You might try a program like DVD Fab to see if it'll copy it and remove the zone restrictions,
