B.B King Live at the Regal...
one of the greatest live recordings ever...
eric clapton-from the cradle,brilliant album
A toughie....
BB Kings' Live At The Regal, the Cook County album would be close.
Maybe Texas Flood by SRV.
Then again, either of the first two Roy Buchanan records might do it.
Or Second Winter by Johnny Winter.
Or Dog Party by Scott Henderson.
Hendrix's 'Blues' album maybe?
Damn.....too hard!!
my all time favorite is Zakk Wyldes 'Book of Shadows'. That disk still floors me.
A recent one that I consider a classic already is Full Circle by Walter Trout. Look at all the outstanding players on it. What a fantastic song Clouds on the Horizon is - featuring The Man, Joe Bonamassa!
Probably Led Zep I...and yes, I do consider that a blues album!
without any doubt!
Im gonna say the Allman Bros- Live at Fillmore East.
Their version of Stormy Monday blows me away!
I gotta eliminate JB to even the playing field!
maybe Ocean city, MD? never heard of Oceanside (but I don't get out much...) in Ocean City on route 50 there is a sign that says 3K miles to somewhere over your way but i forget , don't think its Oceanside
we all live under the same sun
my mom's friend from college who my middle name (not one in my intro thread btw) came from used to have a used book store in Oceanside. the paperback exchange
sorry for off topic
so its like that has that so its like song in it and Joe says thats a Blues song and also tells me I don't mind that
Right you are Bonametal, it is Ocean City, Md., I believe that maybe that's where I-80 ends, if I'm wrong feel free to correct me.

Oh Juan, the pressure is simply TOO MUCH! Favorite of ALL TIME?????!!!!! I'll compromise and give you my favorite from this past weekend - listened to it SEVERAL times -
Buddy Guy and Junior Wells - Alone & Acoustic
Sweeeeeeeeet.
Adios mi amigo,

Dang G-friend, that's a beauty eh? Bill Graham used to book them at Fillmore West, unfortunately I didn't catch that one. However that's pretty much how I got introduced to the blues by going to BGP gigs that Bill laced with blues artists. Bill was one of a kind, an absolute genius at what he did, he lead and the rest followed.

All righty then, the CD I was diggin' on last night, for the umpteenth time that brought this on, was Robert Cray's Midnight Stroll. Song for song all killer, no filler. Young Bob was on top of his game right at this point with the Memphis Horns and Tim Kaihatsu filling in on guitar. It's one of those albums that just hits on all cylinders. There is no one favorite song it just works for me from start to finish. In my humble opinion of course. I respect all your choices and would love to hear any others.

O.k., as boring as it may sound, but then it´s Joe. Don´t make me pick one now !
Alright, I´ll try .... let me think ..... aaarrrgghhhh, I say "ANDY Live" now, because it was the first one I "fell in love with".
But there´s so many others too .......... hmpf, just got to be Joe.

The bavarian cake maker...........boring??? Come on now. You're still too young to commit, keep your options open mi amiga.

i forget the exact quote but i am pretty sure thats the thing Joe says is like the number one blues record, if you have to pick one.
i think it could very well be...
B.B. in his prime...what more could you ask for?
way too hard to pick one.
my all time favorite is Zakk Wyldes 'Book of Shadows'. That disk still floors me.
(jealous) good one!

Edited to add: Just realized that you said "Alone and acoustic" and that I thought you said "Play the Blues" - but they´re both great records, because these two are one great Blues-duo
