This is a brilliant version.

I always liked Focus, specially jan Akkerman. Before Focus he played in the band Brainbox, very good too. More bluesy, rocky. I mentioned him often before on the forum.
He is one of my favourists. He was and is far ahead of his time. Always taking different not commercial directions, a bit like Zappa.
Have all his Lp's and CD's
In 1973 he was voted best guitarplayer in the world by the British magazine; melody maker ahead of Clapton, jeff beck, Jimmy Page, Blackmore. That was the top 5 if I remember well.

In Bochum I gave Joe a DVD I recorded from NPS Dutch TV, it was a documentary about the life of Akkerman. Wonder what he thinks of it. Joe said he know Akkerman, which guitarplayer doesn't.
