Topic: New Gigliotti Website
SO Gigliotti guitars came out with a new designed website.
The photos aren't really updated, but the huge profile of JB is taken off the homepage.
Well, the new site is kind of let down and here is why:
The menu bar has a "marshall head' graphic in the background, and all the knobs/jacks are stretched oval instead of circular.
Also, the photos double up when there is enough space and the repeat image gets cut in half.
Less blues or even rock image....its metal now? There are pictures of teenaged tattooed women with the guitars... But I'm not sure I want the same guitar as Kitty wannabes...does anybody know who those girls are? It doesn't say. Just models maybe? Why take away attention from the guitars?
All the legitimate images on the website are still from the old site...just the amp head layout and added chick pictures is really all I see in the new layout.
And there's less JB presence on there. Is this cause of the Gibson sig coming out and JB using Gig's less exclusively?
So I'm left wondering who designed his new site and how much they were paid. Not that I'm 'knocking' the designers, I'm just in the field. Just because I have some subjective opinions about the site, that doesn't mean I don't want one anymore. Will the cost ever go down? When are they going to bust into mass production like PRS?
