Re: I havent been on the board in awhile.

Joe, thanks so much for all you do.  You have made my little lady down under VERY happy with the picture of your guitars I had you sign after the sound check in Ardmore.  And you know, you've actually been sick since Mardi Gras in Galveston.  Please take care of YOU.  You have too many adoring fans out here to not share yourself and your fantastic music.  Once again, thanks for the 3 great shows I saw with you recently!!!

Re: I havent been on the board in awhile.

Joe, you've got plenty of new fans here in Tulsa after your show here last week.  I am already anxiously awaiting you're next visit here.

Tulsa has a great annual blues fest that you would really make a big impression at.  Last year, BB King was the headliner along with GE Smith, Taj Mahal, Horton Heat, Monte Montgomery, and Sonny Landreth.  Your performance last week was more enjoyable than any performance I've seen at the tulsa blues fest ever!

Do you have anything planned on your calender for May 4th or 5th of 2007?

Keep on rockin' the blues!

Joe...it's always great to get an update and I'm glad you responded to some of the unwarranted criticism.

I am a custom guitar and pickup maker and I met w/ Joe to demo my pickups, and he ended up getting the whole guitar.  This has been my demo guitar for a number of years and I had become quite attached to it so it was a little hard to let go.

I CANT believe I missed the Appleton gig.  I didn't even hear about it... I get emails from Stu and everything.  It was probably my negligence though.  Born and raised in Appleton, I really admire the Mills Creek venue and value the fact that JB can play there.

I will be seeing you in Michigan if possible, as I am moving to Lansing.  Plus my birthday is Dec.6 - so will try and see you in Green Bay then!

Ask me about my handwound Great Lakes Guitar Pickups
Since 2010, Bonamassa fans have taken advantage of my JB friend discount = my cost + shipping. cool

Re: I havent been on the board in awhile.

Thanks Joe... you ARE a class act. There will always be someone who feels "owed" or slighted, and guess this is the other side of this business. You owe no one anything, or an apology… or an explanation. Enough said. Thanks for playing and singing your heart out in Houston, even though I know you were sick, and needed to be in bed getting rest. It was one of the best shows I’ve seen to date!

Keep on keeping on….

Hi Joe,
I think this quote fits you..."The highest reward for man's toil is not what he gets for it but what he becomes by it." You consistently prove you are an all around class act, keep on being YOU...  I got such a kick out of that Guitar One article about you keeping your '65 strat in the kitchen. (must have something to do with that Italian bloodline and a few extra guitars to spare)  It gave me an idea of how to kick things up a notch in my own kitchen!

Joe
As always thanks for the post..I have seen you 3 times so far and got to meet you after each of those shows..you have always been a class act..people have to realize is that it is your name on that marquee not Bloodline..so you drive to ensure that quality is part of your shows. That can be tough playing these little venues..but as we talked about once..your day will come..bigger venues, better soundsystems, indoors etc.
