Was just thinkin about this as I was watchin the Rory DVD

"A Million Miles Away" would be killer, and a nice mix with his current material

"Going Down" Jeff Beck version

Rory Gallagher Live at Montreux is a good DVD I tend to like the frist disc the best love his older stuff Irish Tour I think is his all time best Cd so if I was ask witch Rory songs I want Joe to cover it would be who's that coming or walk on hot coals

Re: Covers you would love to hear Joe do

If your looking for "obscure" covers how about either "World in Changes" or "Look at You Look at Me"  from Dave Mason's Alone Together album. There are parts of Sloe Gin that remind me of that LP.

I've had the privledge of seeing Joe play twice and am so looking forward to tomorrow's Berklee show. I'll be in the 2nd row ...:>).

Got to see the Experince Hendrix tour last week. I can only imagine what that would have been like if Joe had been part of that !!

"Just Got Paid" - ZZ Top

I'll second the opinion that I'd be willing to wait longer for an all original CD and go with a "best of" to tide me over......the only problem is narrowing down the list of "best of" tracks.........might as well keep all the CD's in rotation!

Moonchild by Rory Gallagher, Whipping post-ABB

Re: Covers you would love to hear Joe do

"Worried Down With The Blues" by Warren Haynes. I've thought about Joe covering this song from the very first moment that I heard it. It could be the next, "If Heartaches Were Nickels" in popularity for Joe, and it's a custom-made showpiece for Joe's style, guitar tone and vocals.

Has anyone suggested the Alvin Lee's 'The Bluest Blues'? An all time favourite of mine and so so right for Joe's vocals and guitar.

Dang Stu, I love that song too and have thought it and a few others by Warren would be great cover material for Joe.  Not that Warren and Derek Trucks don't more than do justice to it.
