Aint No Fun Waiting Around To Be A Millionaire or Its A Long Way To The Top (If Ya Wanna Rock N' Roll) - AC/DC
For me it would have to be " Hands Off" by Rory Gallagher
millhouse
Donald Duck....singing in the Rain......(just Kidding Joe
Was just thinkin about this as I was watchin the Rory DVD
"A Million Miles Away" would be killer, and a nice mix with his current material
"Going Down" Jeff Beck version
Rory Gallagher Live at Montreux is a good DVD I tend to like the frist disc the best love his older stuff Irish Tour I think is his all time best Cd so if I was ask witch Rory songs I want Joe to cover it would be who's that coming or walk on hot coals
If your looking for "obscure" covers how about either "World in Changes" or "Look at You Look at Me" from Dave Mason's Alone Together album. There are parts of Sloe Gin that remind me of that LP.
I've had the privledge of seeing Joe play twice and am so looking forward to tomorrow's Berklee show. I'll be in the 2nd row ...:>).
Got to see the Experince Hendrix tour last week. I can only imagine what that would have been like if Joe had been part of that !!
Treetop Flyer - Stephen Stills
Littlewing - SRV or Hendrix version
thats my vote
Oh yea... Steamroller blues by James Taylor would be a good one too
"Out on the Tiles"--Led Zeppelin III.
Kevin Shirley could produce the daylights out of it.
Blessings

The Sky Is Crying
BOLD AS LOVE (HENDRIX)
FREEDOM (HENDRIX)
ALL ALONG THE WATCHTOWER (HENDRIX)
also...
Since I've Been Loving You (LED ZEP)
The Ocean (LED ZEP)
ALIVE (Pearl Jam)lolol
Although I have a pretty good idea where the original post came from..............I'll go ahead and add -
"Just Got Paid" - ZZ Top
I'll second the opinion that I'd be willing to wait longer for an all original CD and go with a "best of" to tide me over......the only problem is narrowing down the list of "best of" tracks.........might as well keep all the CD's in rotation!

Live from the Philmore, Joe Bonamassa playing Ze Zee Top's Rio Grande Mud Classic "Just Got Paid"!!! Some guys can pick 'em! Nice one Phil.
Rock On & Keep the Faith,
Rocket
Moonchild by Rory Gallagher, Whipping post-ABB
"Worried Down With The Blues" by Warren Haynes. I've thought about Joe covering this song from the very first moment that I heard it. It could be the next, "If Heartaches Were Nickels" in popularity for Joe, and it's a custom-made showpiece for Joe's style, guitar tone and vocals.
Luther Allison (RIP) - BAD LOVE & Misery
Jeff
Has anyone suggested the Alvin Lee's 'The Bluest Blues'? An all time favourite of mine and so so right for Joe's vocals and guitar.

Dang Stu, I love that song too and have thought it and a few others by Warren would be great cover material for Joe. Not that Warren and Derek Trucks don't more than do justice to it.
Morbid Angel - Maze of Torment
