I had brain methane boil over talking with someone 2 days ago wondering aloud who he was...But I have seen Sam before and very luckily with some of the guys from some of the old New Grass Revival pairings including Bela Fleck & Jerry Douglas...incredibly cool stuff. Interestingly, New York State, including New York City, is chock full of bluegrass musicians... Lots of great talents out there. Sam is just incredible on the mandolin, none like him. Thanks William Morris Agency to whomever got a brainstorm there. See 'em together, sure it'll be another one for the ages. Sam does do a bit of reggae Cathy, which Bob Marley song did you get? Joe, tell Sam that Ozzie Smith, the best shortstop I've ever seen play, was the San Diego Padres gift to the Cardinals, having left town thanks to San Diego's "Trader Jerk", Jack McKeon. The Padres management treated Ozzie like crap. Glad Sam adores him though. Two of a kind, Ozzie & Sam, very exciting. Kinda like Sam and you Joe, two of a kind, very exciting. Ask Sam about the fusion of Bluegrass into Newgrass Joe, (remind anyone of someone trying something a little different these days, hmm, who am I referring too, I wonder???!!!) and also how it has been received outside the US of A over the years, where the people may have a totally open mind regrading music, with a nearly built in fascination (it still exists folks) in anything "American"... Have fun Joe & fans!!!
