I don't know why but just love his voice. He was really great for a while before he went off the deep end a bit. Symphony or Damn is a CD from the 90s where he plays every single instrument, or so he claims ............. well worth a listen, and now the live version that came after the CD came out, I don't know what year this was

pure badassery - on a freakin' mandolin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zVyEPAMpwDc Dean Town - Vulfpeck & Chris Thile
Now this is sedimental - helps me clear my head of this useless weekend https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o52H8SRLJYM
I have sampled some of it and once again he has hit the mark, El Dorado is a fine release. I have not heard all of it yet but just put on The Well and it's a fine sampling I must say........ looking forward to March 21 when he will be in Birmingham AL, I won't miss it
Marcus King album release day
Just heard "Turn it up" oh yeah!
Gary Moore. The Prophet. Soul.. Feeling.. Emotion.
Volume cranked all the way up.
Harrison's guitar is gently weeping.... Gary's guitar is crying it's heart out.
I guess I discovered this band over five years ago but had forgotten them until yesterday listening to this very nice cover of CS&N. Started re-reviewing things and found the two lead singers are cut from the same cloth as the Everly Brothers.
Still feeling the loss of Mr. Peart.

Me too, and they played this on opening night of the Counterparts tour in Pensacola, replete with the drum solo, 1994 I think it was
Still feeling the loss of Mr. Peart.
On to better things, Robben was great in Birmingham this past Thursday, played a solid 90 minutes with only one small break for a short drum solo ............. this was his encore, one I originally heard on the luncheon concert at Yoshis in SF, one he borrowed from Elvin Bishop

Cuig - [koo-ig] (that’s yer Gaelic for 5)…
I know, they look like yet another Irish boy band in the mold of Boyslife or Westzone, but don’t be fooled, these are probably the hottest Irish folk band for many a long year: Miceal Mullen (banjo, mandolin), Rónán Stewart (fiddle, uilleann pipes, vocals), Ruairí Stewart (guitars), Eoin Murphy (button accordion) and Cathal Murphy (drums, guitars, vocals),
And, for the time being, one of the few ways you’ll get to see much of Cathal Murphy (that’s he on drums & vocals) till folk get some of his solo material out there on the YouTube.
This is a gorgeous little song, even with the into, slightly reminiscent of Divine Comedy’s Father Ted theme.. go on, go on go on…..

And one of their more traditionally based instrumental airs… I defy you not to tap along….

I had not seen this one before, Kingfish in da house with the monster Eric Gales. I wish they could have had that audience shut their pie holes, or it was recorded with too much volume
Exsqueeze me, baking powder ? It's Fish and the Kingfish in da house, I just love her voice

Beth Hart bringing down the house.... Buddy Guy to tears.

Yesterday driving up to northern Indiana to resign my position with my company I put my iPhone on charge and that activates the blue tooth and my music. By random a song pops on and yesterday it was Warren Haynes' Live At the Moody Theater playing "A Change Is Gonna Come". I thought that was pretty cool and a great song to boot.
