Just Suicide - Soundgarden - A VERY sad day indeed! R.I.P. Chris.
Soundgarden - Searching with my good eye closed
Cochise - Audioslave. Saw them in Holland 2005. They were brilliant.
Audioslave - Revelations ___________________________ what a video ___ crying
son and I did watch the Audioslave live in Cuba DVD last night, good again but somewhat painful
Will have me another glass of wine and let her claw through my wounds - am I sound bluesy enough ?
Beth Hart - Fire on The Floor - 1/26/2017 - Paste Studios, New York
Jethro Tull's Songs From The Wood - 40th Anniversary "Country Set" Edition.
Not going to blather on about the album; you've had 40 years to sort that one out. However, Steven Wilson's new re-mix is absolutely fantastic; probably the best do-over of any album I've heard and that's before even trying the 5.1 DVD disc. Now looking forward to sitting down with the re-jigged 1977 concert DVD with it's new sound mix.
Edit - Having now watched the video, the 1st thing I can say is that in picture terms it's a country mile away from Blu-ray or 4K that we're accustomed to today but the fact that it's there at all is technically astounding. The video source was never made for commercial release, it was done on the night to be projected "live" on big screens as the show was performed; the tapes have languished 40 years since, probably under Anderson's red Bowler hat. The audio source came from an 8-track mono recording done with a possible live album from the tour in mind. The fact that these elements have been "Frankensteined" together, with the difficulties in synching, sound-levelling (subtle overdubbing here and there) as well as mixing to stereo is amazing. Yes, there is some annoyance by green horizontal line appearing on screen - unavoidable due to the cameras of the day vibrating to the louder sound from the band - but on the whole, a great snapshot of Tull in full flight, prior to their Bursting Out live album.
Jacob Collier - Hideaway
Went to see the Gypsy - Bob Dylan
Been listening to this great player for a while now - lots of Joe influences:
that is hilarious, but it would help a lot if the guitar was tuned properly

AIN'T WE CRAZY - Harry "MAC" McClintock
Mick Ronson (+ Joe Elliott & Martin Chambers) - Don't Look Down:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=49Poggml3tE
Fiona Apple - Container
Thank you Jimi75!
Fiona Apple - what an interesting voice and what an overwhelming and deep lyrics for her songs she has - never going to be popular mainstream. First time I've heard this particular song was as soundtrack to very, very good series "The Affair" with my favorite actress Ruth Wilson - the woman of absolutely astonishing talent ( anybody ever interested in drama should check this out - setting the standard https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UGma2H0iTKU )

Hey, that's where I heard that song for the first time, too. Great and deep music, not for the masses, but intense!
The Hollies - Stop Stop Stop

( but in reality "what song are you listening right now" - "Driving Towards the Daylight" album , "Heavenly soul" )
