Been working like mad to get the videos edited and uploaded from the cruise. I filmed over 150 songs plus the interview Joe did with the director of the movie "Sidemen - Long Road To Glory" and "Confessions of a Vintage Guitarist". It can take between 45 min up to 1 1/2 hours for each video from beginning editing to final upload so I'll be at this for a while. Just wanted to share a few playlists of what I have finished so far:
The Artist Jam featuring Josh Smith, Kirk Fletcher, Marcus King, Gary Hoey, Eric Gales, Jack Pearson, Paulie Cerra & Jade MacRae https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P … kotnpC8IM9
Bruce Hornsby & Joe Bonamassa Joe played on six of Bruce's songs. In the first song on the playlist (which was actually the last song of the set) Joe does a solo that will just blow you away. It starts about 7:46. The sound for Bruce's show was very off. The bass drum was overpowering to the point of painful for those in front, plus the lights were constantly being beamed right in our eyes. It was like an auditory and visual assault. Many people left during the set because they couldn't handle it. I'm glad we stuck it out though, because that solo Joe did at the end was absolutely golden and redeemed the show. I was able to drastically manipulate the sound Phil captured with his audio recorder using the equalizer in my video editing program, so the finished videos sound quite good. It's unfortunate the sound was not better because it would have been a much more enjoyable show for the audience. Joe certainly looked like he was having a good time playing with Bruce and it's always interesting to hear him play different genres of music. It shows how versatile he truly is. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P … OxDC5QTwx0
Joe's Page/Beck/Clapton Tribute We all were so happy Joe performed this show. The crowd loved it and it was an added bonus to see Mike Hickey on stage with Joe. In my mind this is the band they should have had last summer. Mike and one of the back up singers would have been perfect for the British Blues Explosion. But anyway, enough of what I think. Here is the full playlist and Joe snuck in "Spoonful" as an added treat https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P … 6dJs9bH9Vj
Beth Hart w/special guest Joe Bonamassa Beth played a long set with her own band and then Joe came out and joined her on the last 4 songs. It was great to see them play together again. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P … cP7Dy5_K9d
Anders Osbourne Here are 3 songs from Anders' pool deck show https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P … Ba6GJOmmXL
Joe interviews director Scott Rosenbaum and Roy Weisman https://youtu.be/GoB4ohc7WJQ This is an hour long interview Joe conducted with Scott & Roy. Joe is really good at doing this kind of thing. Very witty and entertaining. Joe was trying to bring attention to the documentary "SIDEMEN - Long Road To Glory" It's an award winning film about the lives of bluesmen Hubert Sumlin, Pinetop Perkins and Willie "Big Eyes" Smith. In order to do the movie correctly it required purchasing the rights to the music and footage which is incredibly expensive. There is a Kickstater campaign going on right now to help fund the movie and if the funding isn't met, then the movie will not be released. Please consider donating a few dollars to this campaign so that the incredible stories of these three remarkable men can be told. It will help preserve an important part of history and it might help to get Hubert Sumlin elected to the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame.

So that's all I have for now, still many more to go...
