I hear it as straight time and midtempo.
The guitar riff begins on the and of one, and ends on beat three. The vocal pick up begins on the and of three.
It's difficult to sort out because on the video Anton Figg is emphasizing the upbeats. That's why when Joe first starts singing the whole rhythm seems off (but in a good way).
I certainly wouldn't worry about the drumming at a blues jam. Just have the drummer kick off the one, and come right in with the riff (I presume it'll be you and that telecaster), on the upbeat.
By the way I'm not 100% sure regarding the last two measures, but that's what I hear. It feels like it needs to go to the five chord in the second half of bar seven, although it's probably just the bass since the guitar riff doesn't end until the downbeat of three.
Also, I know for a fact that there are much much better musicians on this forum than me. So if they chime in, by all means I yield.
