Saw Ryan a week ago at the Rhythm & Blues Festival at Antwerpen Belgium and he was amazing again. Tomorrow 24 May i'm going to see him again at the Spirit Of 66 at Verviers.

We were there last Wednesday, 25, May at the Rex in Bensheim.

WOW: What we heard from those gigs at the Borderline, in Margate and in Verviers, we could just see, hear & emphasize it: Ryan is one of the greatest guitarists and performers of nowadays.

IMO: From his skills he belongs to the Big 3 (which we know): Joe Bonamassa, Ryan Mc Garvey and Josh Smith.

Catch him whereever you can! Would be adaequate if Joe would invite him a second time to the Blues Cruise III. The people surely would enjoy this topact.

P:S: Ryan is working on new material: CD 4, DVD etc. Let`s see what he will create next...

Last week Ryan sat in with the Ben Forrester Band in Nürnberg. After his own gig got cancelled (and then put back on again...), Ryan took the time to come to Visher's Blues Club and jam a tune with Ben and his band. Here's the video:

Eva told me that the club owners immediately offered a double-gig with Ryan and Ben in the future - would be nice to see that happen!

Ryan has been added to the line-ups for the Durham and Cleethorpe's Blues Festivals; 17th & 18 June respectively.

Main stage line-up  looks like this:-

Dr Feelgood
Ryan McGarvey
Debbie Bond Band
Albany Down
Brian Rawson Band

+ a 5 act acoustic stage.....
Tickets still at early bird prices £26 from venue (Durham Gala or Cleethorpes Pleasure Island) or Solid Entertainments.

Ryan`s May dates of the European Spring Tour were cancelled because of family concerning reasons.

Only the gig in Cologne, Yard Club (Kantine),  June,7th is in the ticket sale of eventim availible.

Looks like Ryan may be round in October - one date so far, Louth, Lincs with Erja Lyytinen. Oct 7th.

I knew the spring tour had been nixed, didn't know about further in the year (not being a follower of social media). This just came through via Ents. Erja is always worth seeing though..... Still, we'll wait and we'll see.

Has anyone heard anything at all about Ryan? I am completely in the dark about what happened to make him cancel 2017...Praying that it is just a temporary thing...

Ryan is back in Europe and staying in Dortmund/Germany. He announced some activities next week at an elementary school, next weekend July, 1 + 2 in Germany and the Netherlands and in July in Albuquerque  and Denver.
