JJ Grey & Mofro play the Union Chapel on Saturday 28 May. This is great news if you're in London on that day, they're a fantastic live band. Unfortunately, I'm away sad

Re: The London Gig Guide

I heard a track from this guy on the Planet Rock Blues Power show last night. He's playing the Borderline on the 19th March if anyone's interested. I've almost finished updating the template for page one and will add this one.

Re: The London Gig Guide

The Jazz Café has closed for refurbishment so all gigs between now and May(I think) are cancelled. Particularly annoying for me as I have flights and hotel booked for Jo Harman gig there on 27th Feb.

This sounds outrageous to close it without notice but it appears that the Jazz Café is under new ownership.
There's more detail here

I'll amend the relevant entries when I update page 1, hopefully tonight.

Don't know how many others are following suit; especially in regards to Murray's plight, but I've just seen that Laurence Jones' Jazz Café gig in April has been moved to Camden Underword - same date, 3rd April.

According to Ents 24,
Jo Harman - Unavailable.... whatever that means
Matt Woosey (2nd March) moved to 229 The Venue (5 Parkway; NW1 7PG)
Chantel McGregor (16th March) moved to Nell's Jazz & Blues
Focus (21st March) - NO changes listed as yet
Bernie Marsden (15th April) - NO changes listed as yet
Colin Blunstone (24th April) - moved to The Borderline
Dan Patlanski (9th June) - NO changes listed as yet.

So far as I can tell, no changes or cancellations seem to be listed after end of May. Hope this helps.
