If you read the April 9,2015 Montreal Show by mikimikiveliki in the Montreal thread; the London ON April 11 show is pretty much identical (since Joe and the crew would have to strike the set at 1am Saturday April11, then drive 8hrs straight to London and began setting up again immediately to be ready for the Sat night show)
Joe and the boys would have had to sleep on the bus.. I can't imagine that many people in just 2 buses,, he has to have more buses.
started with New-Rise/Oh Beautiful .
"only" 6 guitars I counted..
[EDIT]
I edited out my guess' the guitar lists in favor of Joe's 100% accurate guitar list below
Spot got the most work out of the night..
must be the new fret job Joe just had done on it.
Just a few 'old favorites' were added to form the current list, Sloe Gin, John Henry, etc.. Most was from the Shades of Blue and a couple from the Muddy Wolf
I was in Row 7 floor2, but I must have had the 4 biggest guys in all of London in front of me in row 6.. my nose was equal to the their shoulders, which made it hard to see.
also I was thinking that that Bonamassa mic stand was cool, till I realized that when Joe is singing at it, you can't see his guitar work behind it (and it blocked my view of Tal, couldn't see him at all)
At times he did more singing than playing (while semi-hugging his guitar) this show cased his singing ability while the Key's and Horn's did his fill in.
Sound quality was good, each member of the band was well defined and clear, once or twice Joe fell back a little in the mix with vocals vs music but was still clear to hear the lyrics he was singing.
in 2013 here in London there was about 3 loud guys yelling Jooooooeee,, or Bonamaaaasssaaa,, last night,, I think it increased to about 30 guys.
esp in Joe's quite spots.
Speaking of quite times.
Joe really showed the dynamics with the guitar from quiet to loud, many times, not just a couple of times like he would do in the past, he was really showing how 'tactile' the guitar could be with 4 almost-cranked 1950's Fender's in the back line
as always, you can bet the time on your Rolex, Joe started right at 8pm, ran right to 10pm on the dot.
after about 2min of cheering, the boys came back out and ran to 10:15pm.
down a bit from last May2014 when I saw him in Toronto where he ran straight to 10:45..
but Hey.. I could continue hearing him play long into the night/morning.. but I'll take 2hrs 15 min over 0hrs.
I only recorded Sloe Gin..
Didn't get much video done.. but here is London ON version of Sloe Gin
