I have gotten my Epi JoBo this evening.  The anticipation was killing me.  Mine was purchased used online through a GC store in Illinois.  She now has a new home in Colorado.  It plays great and sounds great.  A real improvement over my Epi Classic.  I used to have a Gibson LP traditional pro goldtop with P90s that had the 50s neck and have missed the bigger neck. I don't see any manufacturing defects and only a few scratches on the back from a little belt rash.  There was a receipt with mine that shows the previous owner had it set up by a luthier but there's still a little fret buzz I need to work on.  Besides that it looks and sounds perfect.  I was impressed with the tuners.  I put locking grovers on my lp classic but noticed the stock tuners on the JoBo are very precise.  One odd thing was that the bridge pickup wasn't level, it was tipped up towards the bridge I pushed it down level and immediately got a better tone out of the bridge pu.  I have the paperwork and signed certificate.  However, the serial numbers don't match which I've seem on here before.  regardless, I'm very happy with this so far and it will definitely be my No. 1.  So for the data...

Looks like S/N 10101514469 will be making it's new home in New Jersey!
Found the brand new Epi LP JoBo LE Goldtop in Europe & it is being shipped to me as of yesterday.
I will update this post if there is any damage to it in transit.
I cannot wait to play it!

Greetings fellow Bonamassa Epiphone Les Paul Owners.  I have noticed that only the blue model is listed on the Epiphone web site. I don't know if that means that the Gold Top has been discontinued or not?

They released the EPI Gold top version at least 3 times....so there are plenty of them out there..
Check Ebay & Reverb for one if you want to get a EPi Gold top....or someone on this forum might have for sale...Good Luck

Thanks for your update, I have a first run gold top, great guitar. I hope the epiphone will continue to build this model, perhaps new colours are to follow after the blue version.

Saw Joe last night in London Ontario. Great show. He played two Strats, two Les Paul bursts, Es335 and a Les Paul with a Firebird headstock. His new amp set up sounds good, two bassmans and two vintage twins. Lots of new material from his most recent albums.
