I Think it's a good idea.

I think it would be useful to have a register in a similar style to the Gibson registry and helpful if it was on this first page of the thread. Please add your Epiphone’s details on the thread and I will update the Register below. Please don’t copy the whole register when updating with your details as each post could be longer than one page on the thread! For the same reason I’ll only update with the # posted.
I’m not sure about mentioning twisted headstocks as one person’s twist is another’s perfect. Any comments on layout etc. let me know.

My guess is certain stores that got their orders in early got a certain batch of numbers.  For example, it looks like mine is early in the sequence and it was a GC purchase.  They probably bought 100 or so and got in early.  The mom-n-pops probably got the later numbers.

Hmm.  Mine has a sticker on the back of the warranty pamphlet at the bottom.  It has model number, serial number, and a date (presumably when it left Nashville after set-up).  Maybe this was added only recently?

Quality Issues: Well this is my 2nd one in 2 weeks, the first one i got with the Feb 1st shipment had a broken headstock.
The one i just got with the S/N above has a bad nic <deep scratch> in the center of the body on the back side, and some serious paint flaws. Also the fretboard didnt stain evenly and i have unstained lines about as thick as a highlighter going from the 17th fret on the high E string all the way up to the 1st fret and it goes up to the G string from the 12 fret to the 3 fret. A lot of cosmetic issues with this one and also wont stay in tune longer than 30 min of play time. Im pretty disappointed to be honest with everyone.  I watched a video of Joe calling these his babies. So i went to his web site and email who know who and explained the issues i had with both of the guitars. I told him there is a serious case of child abuse going on, one had a broken neck and my exchanged on was just terribly neglected. I dont think anything will happen with the email but what can it hurt. i will be seeing him in concert on march 3rd in kansas city, wouldnt it be nice if he ACTUALLY DID read the email and then at intermission of his show that im going to he calls me up on stage and hands me his out of his hands. WOW yeah i need to wake up now and get ready for work LOL that would be a dream come true, andway that just my 2 cents.

I'm kinda thinking that if they hit Nashville in good shape and unbroken,get set up tuned and past on,it's gotta be they have to be detuned after they are set up and shipped ?  But then I think to myself,why do we not hear of this with the Gibby's,same design neck and headstock. ? Inferior wood in the MIC guitars.   Like Pink Floyd say's,"I'm Still Waiting".
