I saw the presale code and I didnt have my card while I was at work to order it, upon checking this morning I saw the facebook post was gone. Anyone have the presale code still? Or does that deactivate after 24 hours? I was ready to order and all. Really dont want to miss Joe this year
It's a brand new facility(actually not yet completed) with a new website. Grand opening is in November, I believe.
I, and apparently other local "Joes" took no chances and bought a base membership, which got me the member's pre-sale. As of today, I am a very happy owner of 6th row, orchestra center section seats. Scored 10th row for Mellencamp yesterday, through the fan forum pre-sale; quite pleased about that too.
The website is little quirky and pretty slow. When you get to the event page for Joe's show, click 'Buy Tickets'. Then the date displays below that; click on the date, then BE PATIENT! It's a slow load but eventually a page will appear and you click on Orchestra, Mezzanine, or Balcony. After yet another slow load, the seating chart appears and you can pick your seats.
I hope they improve the site, as it was a frustrating and anxious experience. It took me a few tries to get the aforementioned method to work. The site isn't what I would call intuitive.
With all that said, the results were worth the effort. December 16 can't get here soon enough.
actually the sticky note that had all the pre-sale codes is gone.
Eric D noted in that (now missing) sticky thread that Orlando was a new theatre and they didn't know if it was even going to be open for Joe's show.
How many of you are going to the Orlando show? I was very elated when that venue showed. However, i am also going to the Ft Myers show that same week. So I will end up seeing him perform for the first time twice in one week. If there is anyone traveling to the Ft. Myers show and would like to carpool just contact me. I am actually staying with some friends in cape coral and was not going to get a hotel room, but would be more than happy to have the company on the drive down. Shenny, you are right....December 16th cannot get here soon enough.
We will be at the Orlando show. We attended the grand opening of the Dr. Phillips Center including a free outdoor Sheryl Crow concert a couple of weeks ago. The Walt Disney Theater is quite magical. Can't wait to see Joe up on that stage.

Skipping Joe this year. Nice to see some other Orlando folks here. I liked his shows at the Plaza a lot. Joe's playing and band last year at Bob Carr were amazing, but it's not my favorite venue for this kind of thing. Not sure what to expect from the new venue.
