I remember specifically sitting at the show and wishing people would be quiet during the quieter parts. It's hard to get into it and feel the music when you have people shouting during all the intimate parts of the songs. I do my fair share of girly screams at the shows haha, but more so when I feel it's appropriate. I saw a band called Volbeat not too long ago and the atmosphere was entirely different to where I was screaming the whole time! The band encouraged it actually, but with Joe he draws a classier crowd, and the music draws me in so much, that hollering during intimate parts is just disrespectful. Again, my opinion as everyone is different!

Really good acoustics in this building! However, I have complete opposite feeling than most do in this post. I always feel the crowd at these shows are much too reserved and quiet. It's a blues/rock show, not an Opera! So what if people want to express themselves through occasionally yelling out or actually "feeling" the music. And God forbid someone has a few cocktails and actually are having a good time. I find it more annoying when people shush someone or tell someone to sit down, which I heard someone do to a lady who was having a good time and enjoying the music, then someone yelling out "Joe". Most of the crowd was acting like the Cincinnati Pops was in the buiding, or at a funeral for that matter. The crowds are boring at these shows and that takes away the fun for me. Maybe it's the older generation attending these shows and the lack of younger fans attending. I not young at 43, but everyone else had a good 10 years on me it seems. I don't understand the lack of young fans. Maybe they are afraid they will be told to "shut up" at a at a blues/rock show. It's just wierd to me. Still love Joe, but sure wish some of his fans would loosen up a little! Rock on everyone! But just do it quietly!
I agree with you eregoo. For me if someone is in front of me and standing up the whole time and with the high prices for my tickets you can bet I will tell them to sit down. If they get up to applaud that is cool but to decide to stand up and have no respect for the person behind you is totally disrespectful. Yes older crowed at Joes show I have trying to do my part to get the under 20 crowd in. Let's all try to do the same
