Topic: Paris March 4th
Here are some news from the 2nd show in Paris yesterday (March 4th).
It was the same setlist as the previous day (see below).
As expected from Joe, it was a great concert with two fantastic bands. The highlights were to my opinion: Athens to Athens in the acoustic set, and the three songs preceeding the encore in the electric set: Love ain't a love song (which included a great percussion/drum solo (well, can we call this a solo???) by Lenny Castro and Tal Bergam in addition to Joe's solo) - Sloe Gin - The Ballad of John Henry. When Sloe Gin ended up, I thought it would be the best song of the concert and then we were treated with an outstanding version of John Henry which was even better than Sloe Gin. John Henry is not usually my favorite Joe's song, but this new version was just unbelievable.
