I don't thinks he ever finds it boring. he is determined to re-write the record books for himself. Most championships, most wins, most laps led, most pole positions, most fastest laps and so on and so on.
It isn't his fault that his dominance, and that of his teams is killing the spectacle just now. It was the same with his hero Schumacher for so long.
Ironically, his achievements will actually be diminished if he doesn't move to another team at some point. Being the champion in the best car and team for ever will under mine his success. Schumacher can at least point to winning 2 titles with Benetton before effectively reviving Ferrari's fortunes and winning 5 more titles.
Next year might throw up a change in the order for a while, but what the sport needs now is for Newey to leave Red Bull, Vettel to move to somewhere else and Bernie Ecclestone to retire. Then maybe we can get the sport we love back.
On Vettel though.........he is one of the great drivers. He maximises the car and the efforts of his team. Everything that is asked of him, he does. He reacts to situations that are thrown his way and adapts accordingly. I think though if you put Lewis, Fernando and Kimi in the same car for a day with him there would not be even a cigarrette paper between them. They are all champions, but right now Seb has the advantage of THAT team and he uses it so well. Fair play to him. Red Bull and he are worthy champions this year.
However, it would have been very close on Sunday and I fancy Mark could have beaten him on a different strategy, but we will never know because he suffered about his 10th mechanical problem/failure of this season. But then he always seems to in this team doesn't he..........?
