About 3000 fans in Hartwall Areena that was slip in two parts with a huge curtain to create more intimate atmosphere. The ice rink area - less than a half that is normally used in hockey games - consisted guite simple stage set up and some hundred seats. Set list did not give any surprises (song-wise) but musically it was another superb evening ranging from touchy low volume parts to pounding heavy/hard rock performances. Personally I was extremely excited to hear "Driving towards to daylight" and "Song of yeterday" wich ended with massive Who-like mayhem (well, there was 2 out of 4 of the BCC lineup on stage). Carmine Rojas was again that old trusted baseman, Tal Bergman did same strong drum performance as last time I saw JB and Derek Sherenian showed great versatility and poured both sweet and nasty ingredients (acoustic "Jelly Roll" got some boogie flavor and "The Ballad of John Henry" attacked with a massive progressive/hard rock mid part).
All in all: I've seen and heard more than half of those song live now three times and every time arrangements have been different. That gives me a feeling that JB really does it for us - fans.
