Well, the 2nd instalment was another good watch - apart from Kursaal Flyers - what on Earth was the compiler thinking there? I think the end result was that Nick Lowe ends up being more "connected" than Kevin Bacon, at least as far as 70's "pub rock" went.

Thing that got me though; watching all the bands; some big names, some that soon crashed and burned; that came through on the Old Grey Whistle Test clips, and you think of all the contemporary bands we discuss on this and other forums; it makes a compelling case to re-work and wheel out a TV show of that format and remit on BBC Whatever or ITVinfinity.

Looks like 'tis the season of recycling programmes, with the re-runs of the Tom Jones shows last week; though Friday 19th April we'll let off as it's another chance to see George Harrison - Living In the Material World
