I see from Glenn's FB page he is announcing going to Nashville I think to record a rock album with his new band.
We'll see what that brings and who is in the band. Having been given the green light by Joe to recruit a replacement for him I don't understand why they didn't do that and get out and tour the last album.
The inability to use the name seems to be cited as one problem, and that is something that hasn't been properly explained from what I have seen and read.
There's clearly a lot of unnecessary stuff that went down at the time and perhaps the use of the name was one way of canning the project - for now. I believe Joe's version of events and it is just a great shame an appropriate touring solution couldn't have been worked out.
Including the live one they are 4 albums that have a treasured place in my collection. Truly the only band I have heard in recent years that actually captured that '70's hard 'Rawk 'n Roll' with leanings to prog, blues and fusion or in the mix.
So glad I got to see 'em live.
