Re: I miss BCC.

Here here.

Second only to Rush for me.

The inclusion of Song of Yesterday in Joe's current setlist helps ease the pain a little though.

I saw a couple of guys in Manchester last night with BCC tour T-shirts and felt a real unbecoming pang of jealousy each time. The one that got away sadly.

Re: I miss BCC.

Too much pain for Joe involved in BCC's name at the moment I think.

Time heals though.

I didn't know Song of Yesterday was currently on tour.. excellent.

(If only I had 1% of Joe's guitar talent)

Re: I miss BCC.

I never got into Joe or BCC until after BCC became history. Maybe one day they'll get back together, but until then I'll enjoy their legacy, and Joe's solo stuff and other projects.

My husband is a proper old school classic rock fan and he mentioned to me recently that back in the day, he'd been thinking of going to a BCC gig but then decided he wouldn't ask me because he didn't think it would be my cup of tea. I don't think we'd win a Mr & Mrs game when it comes to music. tongue

Re: I miss BCC.

I see from Glenn's FB page he is announcing going to Nashville I think to record a rock album with his new band.

We'll see what that brings and who is in the band. Having been given the green light by Joe to recruit a replacement for him I don't understand why they didn't do that and get out and tour the last album.

The inability to use the name seems to be cited as one problem, and that is something that hasn't been properly explained from what I have seen and read.

There's clearly a lot of unnecessary stuff that went down at the time and perhaps the use of the name was one way of canning the project - for now. I believe Joe's version of events and it is just a great shame an appropriate touring solution couldn't have been worked out.

Including the live one they are 4 albums that have a treasured place in my collection. Truly the only band I have heard in recent years that actually captured that '70's hard 'Rawk 'n Roll' with leanings to prog, blues and fusion or in the mix.

So glad I got to see 'em live.

I miss the music.
Can't say I'm missing Glenn...his fb spiel is to pretentious and beyond...takes away the music feel for me. Keep it zipped.

I actually ended up un-fanning Glenn on Facebook too...  Didn't really bond with his posts.  He still has a LOT of fans there though, so I don't think he misses me... big_smile  Good luck to him and his tour...
