Re: Do The i-pod Shuffle

welcome to the forum, you got 2 of Joe's right off the bat, can't beat that. As Gene Wilder said to Kenneth Mars in Young Frankenstein, "nice grouping". I may be the only other Buckethead fan here. sad Brack is a big Linkin Park fan. Hang around and enjoy the Bonacompany, a friendly lot of folks it is, good to have you.

Thank you! I'm not quite sure how this forum thing works yet, but I am a big fan of Joe's and excited to see i'm not the only one! haha It's hard to find people my age who actually know who Joe is (i'm 22)! Thanks for the warm welcome!!

Re: Do The i-pod Shuffle

I think you would be very pleased and surprised at Joe's demographic range, plenty of younguns your age here. My son is 26, he introduced me to Joe in 2008, I'm 59 now smile as far as the forum just jump in and post away freely, however we try to avoid political and religious issues. And you need to have some fairly thick skin if you know what I mean, don't take anything too personal. I've posted a lot of nonsense on occasion and been shot down in flames. lol

Not Enough - 3 Doors Down
Annabel - Don Henley
21st Century Blues - Robin Trower
Hey Hey My My (into the black) - Neil Young & Crazy Horse
American Girl - Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers
Doolin Dalton - Eagles
Mansion on the Hill - Neil Young & Crazy Horse
When love comes to town - U2 & BB King
Here comes my girl - Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers
Where were you last night - Travelling Wilburys

How ironic I get 2 NY & CH when they've just cancelled their London gig.

Re: Do The i-pod Shuffle

Another 10 myself

Joe up straightaway but with BCC

Sista Jane - BCC
Stanley Road - Paul Weller
Almost There (Live) - Level 42
This is your Life - Threshold
DOA - Foos
Take it any way you want it - Outlaws
Flatline - Dirty Dave Osti
Don't wanna talk about Love - Thunder
Ich Schwoere - Udo Lindenberg MTV Unplugged
Hand me down - Matchbox 20

Had to buy a digital version of Level 42's live 'Physical Presence' album recently as I have packed all my albums in storgae at the moment. British Funk at its best before they went a bit too Pop.

German (language) artists like Udo don't really get a mention on the world stage but the geezer is a superstar here. His MTV unplugged gig from 2011 revitalised his career by updating his songs unplugged and duetting with contemporary German artists. Very clever. His backing band - The Panic Orchestra - is outstanding. He wouldn't be mosts cup of tea but his lyrics & social comment and longevity afford him iconic status, and justifiably so.

No Hits, No Hype.......................Classic Rock Jan 2012
