Re: Do The i-pod Shuffle
very funny, son asked me if I wanted to run 10 just last night, I said no that there wasn't any interest here on a regular basis. Thanks for posting, maybe I can get it done tonight amidst the baseball.

Added a couple extra due to artist repeats.

funny thing is Rocket, we don't have an ipod at all, rather a PS3 with an additional external harddrive. I don't really know how much is on there, son would have a better idea, and there is a lot of stuff on it that I cannot stand. Like rap stuff and new wave shyte like Neutral Milk Hotel. I culled one song last night and it was a "new wave" thing by Atlas Sound, just terrible.
oh and now I see Guido waltzes in with 2 from Joe, while the rest of us struggle to get one. I'm gonna try another ten tonight and see if he will make the list, otherwise I will assume that the PS3 just hates Joe.
Today's shuffle:
Quiet Boy! - Aynsley Lister
Wonderful One - Page and Plant
When I Was A Little Boy - Steve Vai
Happier Times - Joe ( Live at RAH )
The Great Gig in the Sky - Pink Floyd
How Blue Can You Get - Jeff Healey
Lost in Love - Alvin Lee & Ten Years After
Mountain Time - Joe (Beacon Theatre)
Wishful Thinking - Smokin' Joe Kubek
Blue Powder - Steve Vai
Mine’s on shuffle at the moment and having seen Barbie’s comment about no Joe show in her list of ten I had to scribble down my list of 10 that came up on my commute into work this morning. This was written from memory when I got to the office so the order may not be strictly correct but it’s pretty darn close. As each track came on I began to wonder if someone was controlling the shuffle. Admittedly, I have a lot of Joe and Mule on my player but there’s way more other stuff that stayed hidden. Not that I’m complaining, of course.
Walking thru the Park – Gary Moore
From the Valley – Joe
Time’s Up – Aynsley
Django (from RAH) – Joe
Bride to Better Days (from LFNIP) – Joe
Ruby Electric – Philip Sayce
Sun Dance – Gov’t Mule
BOJH (from RAH) – Joe
Dazed & Confused (from 1st album) – Led Zeppelin
Thelonius Beck – Gov’t Mule
So, four out of ten seems like good value to me. It’ll never happen again.
Good to see Aynsley getting a few airings amongst the JB fans here.
Phil
My first time 'listing' on here. Bit of a mixed bunch. I only have about 6 gb on the player so the selection is big enough to give variation
King of Bohemia - Richard Thompson
Broken Stones- Paul Weller
Stay with Me - Faces
Easy Street - The Union
Kiss the Ground Goodbye - Joanne S Taylor
Funkier than a Mosqito's Tweeter - u know who!
Live-In Sin - Foo Fighters /
Where do the children Play - Cat Stevens
Set fire to the rain - Adele
Bar-B-Q - ZZTop
Mixed bag with a couple of high points. Always loved 'stay with me' by the faces. Only found my original 45 copy the other day with Ronnie Lanes 'Debris' on the b-side. The player is always on shuffle. I love the surprises it throws up sometimes.
nice list Mike, thanks for joining in. We also had Stay with Me come up last night, only it was after I'd run my two sets. You still have the 45, unreal. I had the album but no telling where it went. Get UP, Get DOWN, Get UP !!!
feeling lucky last night, trying to get a Joe song to come up, close but no cigar. When was the last time you complained about getting Led Zep in the mix?

"Trouble Waiting"- A New Day Yesssssterday Live (doggone it, this needs to come back into setlist!)
"Cell Block 7"- Bloodline
"Walk In My Shadows"- Live At The Caboose, Minneapolis MN Oct. 11, 2002 (fantastic jumptempo jazz blues version-"F"fantastic show, those previous shows with Bad Co. & Foreigner sharpened that band like nothing else)
"Bridge To Better Days"- "Live From NOwhere In Particular"
"Jockey Full Of Bourbon"- Beacon Theater, May 17, 2013
"Steal Your Heart Away"- Beacon Theater November 2011 Disc 1
