lookin pretty darn good I must say....:)

Jagr starting to show his age now, he was playing 20-30 second shifts. (Pierre McGuire reminded us every chance he got)
I really don't want the Kings to go the whole way again, but they are in playoff mode.A CT hockey fan and you don't want Quick to repeat? Shame on you!
I understand what your saying, but would like to see the Sharks get over that playoff hump. They just fade every year. Bruins rangers 2nd period....Finally a game!!
Looks like the Sharks are making a series of it now. If the Kings didn't have Quick last game it would have been a heck of a blowout. Hopefully will be a good one the rest of the way.
Looks like the Red Wings and Hawks will be interesting also. Know that Red Wings have a good offense but didn't think Chicago would lose like that at home.
Rangers did show up and played darn good for 2 periods then don't know what happened. Kept thinking during the game what Tortayeller said about their power play and Hagelin stinking. Hagelin is what they need for that lethargic unit to get going. So what if he's a jitter bug that makes mistakes they need something to get them moving. Glad to see Nash get that 1st goal. Maybe the Garden will make it a series again.
Thank you Mr. Bonamassa for distracting me from game 2 yesterday!
Wings took it too Hawks last night and it will probably go 7 now. Was a good game and nastiness is creeping in.
First period of Rangers Bruins just ended, NY crowd very staid, I expected a loud building.
Oh crap another West Coast game!

The Hawks had tied the game, but the Ref called goalie interference on Shaw. That was an awful call and was a huge momentum changer. The Hawks have nobody to blame but themselves, with turnovers and two defensive lapses that directly resulted in goals, but that call swung the game around. The Hawks have pretty much a "must win" on Thursday and need to solve Howard.
1 goal a game is not going to get it done.

Bruins up 3-0 now.
I specifically watch Patrick Kane, he only skates when the puck on his stick. He is good, a playmaker, but only waits for his opening and cashes in.
King Henry played his tail off for the Rangers but had no help whatsoever. Total suprise the way the Rangers are playing. Not that I'm a fan of the Bruins but it is fun watching the rookie defensemen they have playing. Looks like that little guy Krug is all over the place when he's on the ice.
That goalie interference call was about as bad a call as I've seen. Looks like the Red Wings are getting in a groove that I wasn't expecting but then again its that Stanley Cup playoff season we love ........or hate.
Toews needs to find a way to avoid the general harassment that the Wings are laying on him. He needs to end his playoff drought, real soon. This could be over quickly, and not in the way Hawks fans are hoping. Not that it all rests on Toews' shoulders, as has been observed. At least at this point, we aren't blaming Crawford.

The Hawks have scored a single goal in each of the last two games. There are lots of guys that need to break through. If the Wings are going to focus on him, then other guys need to step up.
the good news is that Toews had 7 shots on goal in game 3, including clanging one off the post.
Stalberg and someone else also rang iron. A few breaks here and there and the Hawks are up 2-1 instead of down 2-1. Detroit has to get some credit too, but this series is not over yet...crucial game 4 tomorrow.
I was unable to watch the Bruins v Rangers last night, but it sounds like it was quite a game.
10-4 on fat lady not singing a dirge for the Hawks, yet.
This might be the wake up call the Hawks need, from time to time, it seems. Like you said, Bill, everybody needs to get back to rolling like they did in the regular season. A few breaks would help, too. Like not having that momentum changing call regarding "interference" that didn't really happen.
I hope they don't hit "snooze" on Thursday.
I'm not surprised that the Sharks beat the Canucks, but never would have expected a sweep.
There will be some changes in Vancouver...I'd expect to see Vigneault gone before the week is out.
The Islanders are surprising lots of people who thought the Pens were going to waltz into the finals. I'd love to see an upset in that series.
Ottawa can close out the Canadians and the Hawks can close out the Wild in their next games...those should be intense games, with Montreal and Minnesota having their backs against the wall. I'll be at Thursday night's Hawks/Wild game, hoping to bring home a win.
I was off by a week...Vancouver finally cans Vigneault.

7-3 last night...Pens were on fire.....:) 1 more to go Friday night @ home
Did the Rangers delay the inevitable? Is Chicago suffering the President's Trophy curse?
Been watching as much as I can and the most high flying series seems to be LA San Jose. Up and Down action whole game. Never seems to be a lull.
Did the Rangers delay the inevitable?
One shift at a time! They got lucky tonight, but win in Boston Saturday and I wouldn't want to be Boston going back to the Garden.

ALL PARTS Crossed! Im not getting my hopes up yet. King Henry is clearly playing through some medical issues and we cant count on any more shutouts. Especially if we cant stay out of the box.
Apologies to those critical of a fan saying "we" in reference to a team, its a shortcut! And my son was a Jr. Ranger, crushing a few Canadian AAA teams one summer, so "we" is kinda right!
Speaking of which, the losing Canadian teams' families were far more gracious to "us" than some American teams' families were when he played for a team from Montreal and the American's thought he was Canadian. Whats up with that?? Besides, "Oh, Canada" crushes "The Star Spangled Banner" (unless Jimi is playing it lol)
