Looking at the tour schedule has me wishing I could be overseas, right now.

Play like you've worked at it, and don't worry about sounding like your influences.  You can't cheat on them, or your practice, anyway.  If you've worked hard at your skill, your audience will know it.

It was so clear that Buddy was moved by her performance at the Kennedy Center honors show.  Cool that she'll be getting that kind of exposure.

Yeah, it's tough. My sister quit after smoking half her life. She used the nicorette mints and now she's addicted to mints (regular ones that is). She always has a GIANT pack in her purse wherever she goes... it's kind of funny.

Beth quit a few years ago and I think it lasted more than a year, but when she had a bad bipolar episode she started again. Hopefully this time it'll be for good.
