Excellent show, Joe was in top form and Arlan was on fire. We saw both at the bus after the show. Joe appeared very briefly just to sign a few people's things. He saw us and asked "How'd the tapes come out?" we told him we'd see him tomorrow at the meet and greet and give him his copies then. Arlan spent a little more time with us. We told him how we thought he had been on fire tonight. And he said "Yeah, I was really feeling the vibe" Talked a little about Beth and he is really excited about the upcoming shows with her.
On another note, we had the bad luck of sitting right next to a guy who kept screaming JOEY B at the top of his lungs. At one point i was like dude, you just screamed that right in my ear, and he was like, no I didn't and I said of course you did, your mouth is only about 6 inches from my ear. He did stop after that but continued to talk loudly to his friend the whole time. Why do they come if they are going to talk the whole time ?! Then a security guard told me I couldn't do any video. I told him Joe allowed it, but he wouldn't listen and kept shining his light on me until I put the camera away. And of course this happened right when Earl Slick was playing. I did try and sneak some of it, but I don't know how good it will be since my fingers might be over the mics. Quite frustrating to say the least. From what others said, the security were being tough with a lot of people. We'll see what tomorrow brings.
Edit : totally forgot to mention that Joe was wearing the white suit again. When he came on stage he said "It's friday night in New York City, I'll wear my best Las Vegas suit!"
