Thanks! A few things I never knew about her. I admit to watching Star Search but don't remember her. And boy what a host of demons she fights

Love it! Thanks for sharing.
"Hart’s subsequent breakdown was almost as devastating as her substance abuse. A new psychiatrist found a better pharmacological cocktail to treat Hart’s bipolar symptoms, and now she’s in the best mental and physical shape of her life. With an extensive supporting tour for Bang Bang Boom Boom planned, and her second collaboration with Bonamassa nearly finished, Hart bristles with the energy of a boxer in the corner of the ring, bouncing in anticipation of the bell."

I am SO looking forward to seeing her and then Joe in the same week!
I'm always amazed at how people overcome the bad times and come out better for it. We've lost so many artists to drugs and alcohol that is so heartening to appreciate the ones that did.
I am so bummed!
Twice, I have tried to see Beth and still have not been successful.
The first time we were going to see her, but I was recovering from a sinus infection and the venue allowed smoking...not a good combination.
This time we found out the same venue got their ordinance changed to non-smoking but the show sold out before we could get tickets.
But I thought our luck had changed when Rockfarmer said there were tickets to be had!
So I was all excited to rush home and tell my Hubby we could go...only to see him on the couch hacking & coughing...
Maybe someday I'll get to see Beth.
Have fun Rockfarmer & let me know what I've missed

On the count down to finally see Beth live tonight! I am so excited Will be heading that way as soon as the 139th Kentucky Derby is run! I guess you could say you can take the girl out of Kentucky but you can't take the Kentucky out of the girl! First time I have not been in Ky for the Derby.
Also heads up PJ Barth posted on his FB page this Nashville station will be streaming Sunday night's show live!
Caught Out in the Rain one of my faves on BBBB hoping it makes the set list tonight! Appropriate since it has rained here all last night & today! Found this great video of the song earlier this week. Apologies if it's been posted here I looked back a few pages & didn't see it

Have fun and brace yourself for the first time you hear Beth belt out a note.
Is anyone else going to City Winery on the 13th?

Thanks for the info, Lizzee. We will be tuning in to check it out. Can't wait to see her this coming Saturday. I'm also hoping for Caught Out in the Rain. I love that song. Of course, I'd Rather Go Blind would be awfully cool, too!
Beth was the guest editor at Magnet Magazine this week and she wrote a few short entries on different subjects:
