Re: Justin Timberlake

I will continue to claim he has talent. It may not be your cup of tea, but that doesn't lessen his skills. Cathy

Re: Justin Timberlake

Hi Jane-So true about Britney, she is self destructing in public.  I feel sorry for her children, Kevin F. may be better suited!!!???

And Cathy-let me know if that show ever airs again.  And from one techie to another lol can something tivo'd be copied to a dvd?? I'm adding you to my list of ...stand by your man kinda' ladies. smile I like Justin's turn around song and I still play Michael Jackson's Thriller, he's a huge talent in my book.  Personally, I long have been bothered by R & B being taken over by something that's not. (some of that rappy-hip-hoppy stuff) Maybe that is narrow minded of me, sorta' like the blues purists trying to say what doesn't belong.

Re: Justin Timberlake

Angela, HBO is still running the special. I was always the one that programmed the VCR, including stopping the flashing clock on any vcr I came across. Even did all my own wiring for my stereo, hdtv, etc. BUT, I have yet to figure out how to use my recordable dvd. TiVo offers a copy to VCR but I'm still waiting for help to attempt a copy to my DVD player. The sad thing is that's why I bought this DVD player!!!            Cathy

Re: Justin Timberlake

Thanks Cathy. It looks like Justin will be 'takin' a hit' as an ice hockey player in an upcoming movie with Mike Myers and Jessica Alba.

I have played many instuments on occaisson, but just because I could make some music or memorize notes doesn't make me want to put those instrument on MY resume!

Also, notice singing wasn't on the list. oh- and turntables smile

No drama friend, don't worry. Turntables refers to "scratching", something DJ's do. It's against my religion as I always treated my records well.  Cathy

Re: Justin Timberlake

NPB-your post made me think of 2 things... 1st- Timberlake and Mayer have something in common, they made a ton of money when they were really young and felt controlled & manipulated by their record company/manangement.  Now, that their pockets are lined with money, they do as they please and are very marketable and popular. 2nd-my ultimate rock n'roll fantasy would be to attend the upcoming Led Zeppelin reunion!!! smile

NPB-your avatar is really cool and I'm liking Rocket's Aqualung avatar too, classic album!!
