Ahhh yes A Space In Time... Sloe Gin resembles A Space In Time somewhat, in a more tangible way than Tapestry due to the acoustic slant (mixed in there with the edge) Ten Years After took, after hard scorching blues rock precedents, so it was a departure and raised some eyebrows for them, but yet it yielded a hit (really their only, by radio & sales standards) in "I'd Love To Change The World", the one song most people could recognize, even not knowing the artists who made it! And the solos were there also, but also going "outside", writing a decently attractive ballad about avoiding drugs ( "Hard Monkeys"-a big deal in the '60's / '70's) their best seller I believe.....a timeless space in time!
