Well crap!  I didn't pay enough attention to the tickets being on sale for Beth's show in Nashville in May.  The show sold out and there was second show added, the next night.  Looks like it is sold out now too.

I cannot fathom how I did not keep up to date on the tickets and missed out?!  I logged on today to do the order and depression set in.  Not cool at all.

I would keep an eye out on here or Beths site for extra tiks.I don't know how it there, but in Chicago there is always people selling seats outside day of show....got to be careful though

Yeah, I'm trying to keep the faith that an option may come around.

Re: Beth Hart

Ultimate Classic Rock is premiering the live version of I'd Rather Go Blind with Beth & Jeff Beck from the Kennedy Center Honors. It seems the performance was slightly longer and was edited down for the TV broadcast. Sound is great. wink

This version is a bonus track on her U.S. release of Bang Bang Boom Boom on Tuesday.

The more I see the videos the more I'm pissed I didn't get tickets when they went on sale.

Both nights! Went in 2010 to Chicago and was bitten. A day (at that time) of the best guitarists on the planet. And forgot that's where I first saw Joe.

Cool! Then you'll get to see Beth. She'll be there with Jeff Beck April 12th & 13th. It's mentioned in this article:

An audio recording of the show Beth did on March 28th at Olympia in Paris, France is available on DIME. Really good sound quality.

Re: Beth Hart

a bit late maybe, but just came back.
i have been to beth harts concert at the olympia and it was sure one of most emotional concert i ever been. here mother was sitting 2 rows behind us and that what she said at the beginning, my mom is here........mom get up.
she was so happy to play that venue and she rocked it. never saw so many people in suits in a concert like that. so i didnt expect such would get so into it. but everybody did, she got standingo ovations during the concert a couple times or people just got up for moving and dancing.
she sang rather go blind with such an intensity that we got shivers all over and that was not the only song that did it. the whole evening was so perfect for her and i think she has put everything she can in it. the result was an (epic) evening. i have seen here a couple times here in germany but that last thursday was something else.
after playing  2or3 encores with here band, her husband brought her back on stage alone and she was telling the story how much she in love with him.............than she played my california and he came back to put her in his arms. i dont think that this was just show...................................wonderfull evening and for beth maybe something like the royal albert hall was for joe the first time.............................a night to remember.

Someone did an audio recording of that show and my husband downloaded it off of DIME. We've been listening to it, and you're right, that show sounds incredibly emotional and intense. What an amazing performance that must have been to see live. Can't wait to see her in May!

Thanks for your review. I'm so happy for her for that evening. She really wanted her mother to be there - for the first time seeing her perform in Europe. So glad that it all worked out. wink
