I'd love a date in London, preferable not at the 100 Club tho'. wink

How about a date at Mr Kyps in Poole, which was one of Joe's first UK gigs or perhaps the Tunnels in Bristol. Both venues have audiences that appreciate good blues rock music. They could also be convenient if a Wales date is arranged.

A london date would be fantastic, hopefully not the 17th as am off the see Eric Clapton/Gary Clark Jr that evening. Look forward to catching Ryan at the Beaverwood on May 14th and perhaps in London also.

Bummer: lost my voice and couldn't cheer a single time ... I really tried ... cause there were some occasions that deserved it !!!

Indeed wonderful evening. Ryan played 5 new songs before the break and wanted to see the reactions. The songs are planned for the new studio CD. All show has been recorded. See what happens concerning the live CD!
( P.s. Blues Sissi losing your voice was nice for my ears....lol. Imagine I lose mine...!!)

Just confirmed that The Ryan McGarvey Band + The Mentulls will be playing at The Owton Manor Club, Wynyard Road, Hartlepool on Saturday 16th November. The venue holds 300 so it's a good sized venue for two great blues rock bands.

Just spotted another UK date on Ryans website.
Tuesday 12th November - Opening for Walter Trout @ Floral Pavillion, New Brighton, Merseyside.
Having seen both acts, wish it was Walter opening for Ryan!
(Not that I don't like Walter, just blown away when I saw Ryan).

After listening to Ryan here and there, I finally dove in, so to speak.  Just picked up Forward in Reverse and Redefined, and now I will be watching for concert dates in my area, for sure.

Play like you've worked at it, and don't worry about sounding like your influences.  You can't cheat on them, or your practice, anyway.  If you've worked hard at your skill, your audience will know it.
