nothing new on the studio stuff, but shouldn't be too much longer one would think. Heads up for our bonabuds in Germany, Eric will play at least two dates there in October (I'd like to be there for Oktoberfest). I have no idea who he will bring for backup.

thanks Ryan for posting this, welcome to the forum. He has toured off and on with Lauryn for almost a year now, between the Experience Hendrix dates and his off time in the studio. I'm thinking that this may be from the show that he and Stoney Curtis performed in Santa Rosa about 18 months ago. Stoney's comes out 10/17 I think. Shrapnel Records (Mike Varney) taped that show.

thanks for the heads up Rick, son and I will be tuning in. playing with the Les Paul Trio ??, wonder what they will play. That is a little unusual for him but I'm sure it will be a good listen.

Guest artists usually have their own backup at Iridium. I'll be tuning in. I've seen some great acts on the streams from there.

they were both born in the month of October lol............Coco also plays a right handed guitar upside down.

I just looked at a couple of Coco's live vids, and it doesn't look like a right handed guitar??

that is true, Eric is a righty. The story goes that he told his brothers Eugene and Manuel (Little Jimmy King) that he wanted to learn to play, and they said well this is the way we learned and you are going to do it the same way. He went along with it, the rest is history and it turned out pretty good. After listening to more and more of Little Jimmy, there is no doubt in my mind that he would be as good or better guitarist than Eric if he was still alive today. now that's a scary thought.

Man that was rough. The connection had audio so low I could barely hear it and it dropped out frequently. Eric did the best he could with that band. Those cats weren't exactly in the groove with his style. Anton held up a lot of it though. Some good moments but not what I was expecting.
