I wrote to HW Music. I asked them whats up with using my pic of my guitar to sell one on their site. The response I got was this:
Hi,
Don't worry it's gone. Someone must have looked for a photo of a Bonamassa and chosen that one thinking it was a stock photo. Apologies for upsetting you

I then asked why wouldn't they use a picture of the actual guitar they have for sale. Then I got this;
Hi Andrew
I don't know, I didn't put it on. And it was sold ages ago
Again very sorry, honest geniune mistake.

But it's still up there on their site, my Bonaburst. What a crock 'o beans!!
If I was a buying a guitar from them I would certainly expect the guitar I receive to be what was actually pictured. Now ask yourself why wouldn't they use a picture of the actual guitar they were selling, unless they had something to hide. Right? For our UK brethren, I would suggest you avoid doing business with HW Music.
As for the actual stolen Bonaburst, well lets just watch how this plays out. As for me, in the future any picture I post will be watermarked.
