Dear Family,
I can't even begin to tell you how meaningful all your messages, letters & phone calls have been to Bobby and I. The truth of it still stings and is hard to understand but has become so clear in many other ways. I can't tell you how much it meant to me when I saw Dan (Graymtr) & Susan walking up to me. ♥ Hugging them was like hugging all of you ♥ And it was so sweet before they left, Susan came to me and said, "Dan has something for you." He gave me a big hug and said, "That's from Rhonda (photogal)!" So I said, "I bet she had two hugs for me!" and I got one more from him. I don't want anyone to ever forget who Don Patrick was, so I have decided to collect lots of "Don stories" and assemble them into a book. I can't think of any greater gift I could give our son Bobby than a book about who his Dad was. He was deeply loved, admired, and respected by his patients and friends. I know he had faults, like all of us do, and we had our share & then some of ups & downs, but he was a good and loving man. There have been so many interesting things revealed thru Don's passing....many lessons to be remember and practiced.......forgiveness, tolerance of others beliefs, random acts of kindness, Don's giving nature exemplified the verse," it is far better to give than to receive." He took his Chiropractic oath to heart, he didn't just mouth the words. I can only hope that Bobby saw all the goodness in his Dad and makes use of it in his own life. I thank you all from my heart and am so glad for this place we call "our Joe home." Many thanks from Bobby, too. He is amazed by all of you
It is a great help to know the light is always on here!
Love to all and may life bless you over & over & over again!
