Re: The London Gig Guide

Robin Trower's UK March 2013 tour has been postponed again. No revised dates yet.

Any guesses on my Avatar?

Tigger? TIGGER! TIGGER!!! mad  That sir is HOBBES (the thinking man's Garfield) from Bill Watterson's Calvin & Hobbes strip.

As a Northeastener, Brian's ensured his place on the Tyne-Tees guide, but he's no Geordie.

Re: The London Gig Guide

ooops. Sorry Mike. The thinking man's Garfield? Ok, I'll take your word for it. smile

I realy liked Roxy and Brian's early solo stuff - the These Foolish Things LP was a fave and was played to death along with Stranded. I think I fell out of love with him when he became a landowner and sadist.

I assume you are talking about the River Plate DVD or have you got the Maiden Beast DVD too? smile Highly recommended.

Re: The London Gig Guide

You're forgiven... recommended read though, the Clavin & Hobbes books with titles like "Something Under The Bed Is Drooling"; "Revenge of The Baby Sat" and Scientific Progress Goes "Boink"".

As for Brian,  said he, getting back on topic.. I did say on the B.F. thread that it may not be to everyone's taste but he does have an impressive back-catalogue. Just as you point out, kind of lost it a bit when his head went up his own Avalon.....

The DVDs - Both are are being shown on BBC4.
