Re: Any Chickenfoot love?

I love Sammy.  Back in the day, he was so colorful and full of surprises.  Not a huge Chickenfoot fan though.  Too something or not enough something, not sure.

Sammy and Cabo Wabo brand are for sure making some cash

Yep- Way back when it was in the 70's .......tickets were cheap....6-7 dollars for  front row seat.

I remember seeing the Red Rocker performing live...." Trans-Am" , "Plain Jane" .."Heavy Metal"  etc.....Great Energy/Great Band.
I liked Sammy with Montrose .....alot as well....saw them only one time.

Actually I was not a huge Van-Hagar fan...I think MTV helped them out alot......for their popularity.

Since I witnessed the Original Van Halen in the 70's twice  ..Sammy could not  top Diamond Dave's craziness on stage..../Energyjumps/leaps/splits etc.

Anyway...Joe  S. in Chickenfoot on guitar is well worth the bill for me.....give it another try......:)

And so castles made of sand melts into the sea, eventually.........

Don, Since you asked so nicely, I will.  I like Joe S. solo stuff.  I think part of it is my favorite Sammy was Three Lock Box and I want that everytime I listen to one of his projects.  Purely my fault but I like what I like.
