Just saw this posted on the Lava Cables page...

Purported to be Joe's new rewired board?

When we spoke to Joe at the Adelaide M&G, he was talking about simplifying things a bit and going back to a simpler tone chain.  This one still has quite a few buttons on it! smile  Anyone know what that large pedal on the far left is?

Very nice, the big pedal is an H+K rotosphere

I missed the original posting, but still, this pic gives another perspective on the board... smile

Only the old one has the MXR pedal not blurred out.

I wonder are the two interface boxes transformer isolator/drivers?The loop one must be for the Rotospher and the fuzz face?
Who makes those junction boxes?

The one labeled loop is for the delay pedal and the other box is for the amps. Basically like a patch bay so everything can be already wired up etc and then when you get to the gig sight, all you do is run the cables from the boxes to inputs and or effects loop depending on the application for your board. Judging by their size and construction, I assume they might have some type of ground lift or advanced circuitry built in already to prevent unwanted hum, buzz and noises associated with a multi amp setup in general.

I have a 4 input/output patch bay box from Loop Master on my board which is a small box with 4 ins directly corresponding to 4 outs and you can have your entire pedalboard all wired up and then you just plug your cables that go to the amps and or effects loops when you set up your stuff at a gig. Its a much more crude version but it gets the job done. I'm sure they can build something similar to whats in the picture or you could go to that Tone Merchants place mentioned in the other thread and I'm sure they can point you in the right direction.

If you looked at the last thread Joe commented he was going to keep quite about what the MXR pedal is for now....  Maybe thats why it is censored.

Re: Joe's new pedalboard? (Facebook pic)

anyone know how Joe setups that Lehle 1@3?
I found out the hard way that there are 2 different units, one is a a/b/y unit that will allow multiple amp's
the other (the original) like I bought looks like that one on Joe's board, its really a A or B or C but not all 3 at one time
and it really functions as a true by-pass loop which is what its best used for.

so that's what I'm wondering what Joe is true by-passing?

Is the delay the only thing going into the loop?
