Possibly a new prototype compressor?
It looks like a smaller version of a Butler Tube Driver to me. Could be interesting…
I don't know about the box but finally some patch bay boxes and stick on cable organizers!
Signal splitting / patch bay boxes to replace the Whirlwind ABY?

Basically like a thru box so all you need to do is plug cables from the boxes and run them straight to the amp's inputs. All the pedals and everything is wired in a specific order then going to box(s). I have one on my board and they're nice.
Joe's board is starting to look somewhat scientific and less rock'n'roll!!! (;
Someone said on TGP it's called a "TTD Overdrive" and it's a prototype that's supposed to be MXR's version of the Tube Driver, looks pretty sweet!
The pedal is MXR TTD Overdrive.......MXR clone of Chandler Tube Driver......here is shot of joe's new pedalboard for the fal, tour.

Enjoy...notice no more whirlwind for the jubilee / black 88.....looks like the patch boxes in the middle solved that issue, and now lehle will switch between the three other heads?
Jay
You need to set the photos to public on fb or put them on photobucket etc.

Hey Jay
Where did you take the photo's?
Cheers Ron
I'd be down for that overdrive if it came to market. Of course, I need another overdrive like I need a hole in my head.
Same as its always been on I recently discovered a couple of cats named Dave Friedman and Rob Naverette over at Tone Merchants in North Hollywood... I always wondered how everybody had these custom looking boards... It looks great... The mystery pedal in question I choose to let it remain a mystery at the moment.... The rig as it stood on the last tour is being completely redone. Its time for a change more for me and my playing.. I have been using the four head combination so long that I feel its almost a parody of itself.. Im simplifying and going vintage in the new rig... I ll keep you posted when we hit the states and put the rig together in 3 weeks time.

I await Florida with bated breath. Nothing like mixing things up to keep ahead.
Looking forward to seeing some new gear. Still waiting on that copper Pork Loin, Joe.
