I like Blackstar too.  I didn't chime in earlier since I have the low watt HT5R.  It sounds great and does have a nice Marshall roar.  Haven't had it all that long, but looking at build quality, I expect it to be durable.  I'd be interested to read your comments after you have had it for a while as my son is going to be looking for something in the same area as you around the end of the year.

Not the greatest, but I was able to get a decent enough "Slow Dancing..." by Mayer tone out of it with a Strat...

My tastes at the moment are leaning more towards blues and rock anyway...so a bit of chorus and I'll be sorted lol
