That was the initial JB Epi model originally (1000 made as per the ads in the magazines/Gibson's website way back when).....
now I think they are on the 2nd or 3rd run of these ones...
The USA Studio....who knows........how many or if they are redoing them?
It would be cool if they did some Candy Apple Blue ones...

+1 !!!
I hope they don't run any more USA models - if you buy a guitar because it says it's a limited run of a 1,000 units I think you should expect not to see any more out there. Bear in mind I'm no collector - I play my guitars - but I want to see the value increase or be maintained, not de-value because they're 'two-a-penny'.
The guitars on the Wildwood site are new USA Studio's with a GrandDildo fingerboard ..I'm rather unimpressed firstly that they've changed the specs and secondly that they have produced more of a limited edition run ..I wouldn't have spent as much as I did on mine if I'd known that it was an unlimited limited edition
..however it is a cracking guitar and the video at Wildwood does it justice
It doesn't bother me. The studio version is a marvelous instrument, and I hope that more and more people get to own such a great guitar.
This run is of Standard models, not Studios...
Nope these are definitely Studio's but with a grandildo fingerboard http://www.wildwoodguitars.com/products … =0&n=1
Though Joe mentioned a new standard model too
The guitar has binding..... Not a studio.
Why doesn't Gibson make a V or anything besides another Les Paul Bonamassa Model? How about his Red Firebird that he said was like his $3000 diet coke. Or the Bonaburst.
The Bonabyrd for christ's sake!!! That would be a killer guitar to release!!
They do make a ES-335 dot neck based on my 1961 model as well as the Les Paul..

Definitely studio's that were initially being discussed here ..even a side profile picture on Wildwood site showing where the gold top meets the black side and clearly no binding ..still got a granadillo fingerboard though ..and still got a great demo video
These were originally scheduled to be a limited edition of 1,200 (with an option to go to 1,500).
